Shipping & Delivery

 

Shipping Cost: Shipping is ALWAYS free. 


Ship Days: We process orders weekly on Wednesdays. Orders placed by 5:00 p.m. every Tuesday EST will be shipped the next day, Wednesday. For example, orders placed between Tuesday 5:00 p.m. EST and the following Tuesday 5:00 p.m. EST determine your ship date. Please check your order confirmation email for the planned ship date. 


Delivery: We ship all orders with 2-day shipping, so your order will arrive at your door completely frozen by the end of day Friday after your ship date. If your order takes longer than anticipated in transit, your tracking information will update with the planned delivery date. In this example, your order may be delivered on the weekend (if your location allows for weekend delivery).


Tracking your order: You will receive an order tracking number the evening your order ships or the following morning as soon as your order is inducted into the carrier’s system.

 

When Your Box Arrives: As your order arrives frozen, please plan to place your meat in the freezer as soon as possible. We are not responsible if your box sits out over extended periods after delivery to your residence.

 

Where We Ship

 

MeatWorks ships to the contiguous United States, 48 states. Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot ship outside of the United States, Alaska, or Hawaii.

We Don’t Ship To:

Alaska, Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, The Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, The U.S. Virgin Islands

 

Addresses

 

Every order except for digital gift cards requires a physical street address. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes or lockers.

Please double-check the addresses you place in your Meatworks order under Shipping and Delivery. Meatworks is not responsible for incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses.

We recommend sending your order to a residential address for delivery. Commercial addresses could have delays, and weekend deliveries are not available

 

Gifts

 

Be sure to double-check the addresses of your gift recipients. The billing customer is responsible for confirming gift recipients are available to accept deliveries.

 

Our Guarantee

 

We guarantee you’ll love your box or your money back, which includes your box arriving perfectly frozen. If the carrier makes a mistake, delayed delivery, or any other carrier-related issue, we’ll replace your box or give you a full refund.

 

Packaging

 

To maintain the highest quality, our products are individually sealed in air-tight packaging, perfectly aged, and flash-frozen before shipment. Flash freezing is a rapid freezing process used to preserve the quality of the meat. Flash freezing helps maintain the original freshness and taste. We use flash freezing because slow freezing allows larger ice crystals to form, which can cause foods to lose moisture and texture when thawed. 


To help ensure your order arrives in excellent condition, each order is shipped in a recyclable shipper box with a curbside recyclable liner, made mostly of paper and vegetable starch. We use dry ice to keep your order perfectly frozen with an amount that is specific to the weather/temperature of the delivery location and transport routes.

 

Weather Delays

 

Inclement weather and other unforeseen circumstances may delay your shipment. We are not responsible for shipment delays caused by adverse or unpredictable weather conditions, but we guarantee your order's condition upon arrival. 

 

Can I return my MeatWorks order?

 

Perishable meat products can't be restocked or resold, so we do not accept returns. If there is an issue with your order, please reach out to support@meatworks.com. Unfortunately, the following reasons are not covered under our refund policy: 

 

  • Incorrect address provided – always ensure your shipping address is up to date
  • Late delivery due to incorrect address
  • Inability to retrieve your shipment on the delivery date that’s emailed to you
  • Damaged items (unrelated to the shipping carrier)
