Our Guarantee
We guarantee you’ll love your box or your money back, which includes your box arriving perfectly frozen. If the carrier makes a mistake, delayed delivery, or any other carrier-related issue, we’ll replace your box or give you a full refund.
Packaging
To maintain the highest quality, our products are individually sealed in air-tight packaging, perfectly aged, and flash-frozen before shipment. Flash freezing is a rapid freezing process used to preserve the quality of the meat. Flash freezing helps maintain the original freshness and taste. We use flash freezing because slow freezing allows larger ice crystals to form, which can cause foods to lose moisture and texture when thawed.
To help ensure your order arrives in excellent condition, each order is shipped in a recyclable shipper box with a curbside recyclable liner, made mostly of paper and vegetable starch. We use dry ice to keep your order perfectly frozen with an amount that is specific to the weather/temperature of the delivery location and transport routes.
Weather Delays
Inclement weather and other unforeseen circumstances may delay your shipment. We are not responsible for shipment delays caused by adverse or unpredictable weather conditions, but we guarantee your order's condition upon arrival.
Can I return my MeatWorks order?
Perishable meat products can't be restocked or resold, so we do not accept returns. If there is an issue with your order, please reach out to support@meatworks.com. Unfortunately, the following reasons are not covered under our refund policy:
- Incorrect address provided – always ensure your shipping address is up to date
- Late delivery due to incorrect address
- Inability to retrieve your shipment on the delivery date that’s emailed to you
- Damaged items (unrelated to the shipping carrier)
Recipe: Buffalo Chicken Bacon Dip
Buffalo Chicken Bacon Dip
This delicious dip is perfect for your next Game Day get-together. Using Meatworks' chicken thighs and heritage-bred bacon, you can make a filling and protein-packed dip for even the hungriest of partygoers.
Ingredients
16 ounces Meatworks chicken thighs
6 slices Meatworks bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 block of cream cheese (room temperature)
1/2 bottle of buffalo sauce (adjust to taste)
Jalapeño slices (optional)
Baby carrots, celery sticks, and chips for dipping (optional)
Chopped chives for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Start by boiling the chicken thighs in a pot of seasoned water until they are fully cooked. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and set it aside.
2. In a large mixing bowl, place the block of cream cheese and the hot shredded chicken on top. Mixing the cream cheese while it's still warm will make it easier to combine.
3. Pour in the buffalo sauce (adjust the amount to your preferred level of spiciness) and thoroughly mix it with the cream cheese and chicken until you have a creamy mixture.
4. Crumble the cooked bacon into the mixture and stir it in. The combination of chicken and bacon should smell delicious and be evenly distributed.
5. Prepare a serving dish and transfer the buffalo chicken bacon dip into the center.
6. If you like it spicy, you can add optional jalapeño slices on top for an extra kick.
7. Garnish the dip with chopped chives to add a burst of color and flavor.
8. Serve your buffalo chicken bacon dip with baby carrots, celery sticks, and chips for dipping. The cool, crisp veggies and the chips provide a nice contrast to the creamy and spicy dip.
That's it! Order the Game Day Box and enjoy this dip as a delicious appetizer or party snack.
Recipe: Cheddar Bacon Sliders
Cheddar Bacon Sliders
Sliders are a crowd-pleaser, and for good reason! What's not to love about a mini-burger? Up your slider game with our USDA Prime beef patties, heritage-bred bacon (because duh), fresh jalapeños and cheddar cheese for a perfect 3-bite snack.
Ingredients
2 packages of Meatworks USDA Prime burger patties
1 fresh jalapeño, adjusted to spice preference
1/2 yellow onion
6 slices of Meatworks bacon, cooked
4 ounces of sharp cheddar cheese
1 egg
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt, to taste
1 teaspoon pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon paprika
Slider buns
Instructions
1. Begin by breaking apart the Meatworks burger patties and placing them in a large mixing bowl.
2. In a food processor, combine the cooked bacon slices, jalapeño (you can use more for extra spiciness), yellow onion, and sharp cheddar cheese (cut into small cubes) until they are finely chopped.
3. Add the processed mix, the egg, and the spices (garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika) to the meat.
4. Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly until well combined. The mixture should be evenly distributed.
5. Start your grill and let it preheat to a medium-high heat.
6. Form the mixture into evenly sized balls and place them on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
7. Flatten each ball slightly to form slider-sized patties (put a dimple in the middle of the patty to help prevent the sliders from shrinking).
8. Grill the sliders on both sides until the meat is cooked to the desired temperature, recommended is 160F. Cooking times will vary depending on your grill and thickness of your patty.
9. Once cooked to your liking, place each slider on a warmed bun, cut in half. You can add your favorite condiments and toppings like lettuce, tomato, or mayonnaise.
Order our Game Day Box and pair these homemade sliders with our Buffalo Chicken Bacon Dip!
